Personal Injury & Insurance Law

 Tom represents people who are injured by the negligent or wrongful acts of others. Tom has represened clients in automobile collisions, wrongful death, employment discrimination, unlawful employment practices, food contamination, premises liability and civil rights claims. Clients are represented on a contingency fee basis and there is no charge for consultation. Tom is a member of the Washington State Trial Laywers Association (Eagle member) and has presented several seminars for lawyers in the area of personal injury law. He is a member of American Association for Justice and an Advocate of the National College of Advocacy.

Criminal Defense
 Tom represents people accused of crime or under investigation for alleged crimes. Tom has over 30 years experience in the criminal justice field, having served as both prosecutor and defense counsel. He has also served as Judge Pro Tem in criminal and civil court proceedings. His practice in the area of criminal law is focused mainly on felony level crimes.

Land Use & Governmental Relations
 Tom represents land owners and parties interested in property development. This area of law is very much different that real estate law, which involves transactions and security interest in land. Land use law involves obtaining permits or resisting the issuance of permits from the governement at the local and state level. The relationship with those governmental entities is very much part of the land use practice.
